Roses for Pots & Patios

If there is no room left in the border or you want to make a special feature or memory in your garden or outside space look no furter than our decorative roses for pots and patios. This also allows you to add colour, fragrance and pleasure to areas of your garden where it is not possible to plant into the ground like Patios and paved areas.

All roses can be grown in a container, the larger the height of the rose the bigger the pot size needs to be, the smallest growing Fragrant Roses like the Patio/Front Border range require a pot 30 x 30 cm increasing to a pot size of 50 x 50cm for the largest roses like Fragrant Standards Roses or Fragrant Climbing Roses, make sure you use a heavy ceramic or clay pot that has been treated for frost protection or a large wooden heavy pot up to half barrel size. Always use a John Innes No.3 as your compost for roses. Make sure the rose when planted into its container gets at least half day of sunshine and water regularly, during hot dry weather spells your roses in containers need watering daily, adding a large saucer underneath will also help greatly with watering issues when hot.
