New Zealand Roses

We offer many exclusive, interesting and wonderful roses bred in New Zealand, mainly bred by John Ford Roses and his late Auntie, Nola Simpson. They have introduced to the rose world many new and fascinating colours including many browns and lilacs never seen before and New Zealand roses are bred for tough growing conditions and a wet climate with a choice of large flowers with thick leathery petals or more open semi-double roses that again cope with wet conditions very well. John Ford and Nola Simpson have a great eye for novelty with lots of stunning and unusual colours that will certainly turn heads and create magical displays of roses for many months.
