Easy Care Roses

These easy to care for roses are high performers, easy to grow and perfect for those who want to grow roses with the minimum of attention. This category includes roses which have won Rose of the Year and Gold Standard Awards where they are independantly trialled in different areas of the UK without the use of disease prevention sprays and judged over a 3 year period to ensure they both remain healthy and free flowering over that period before being given these important rose awards.

To keep them looking good and performing well you will still need to prune them hard once  year in winter, dead head for repeat flowers and feed with a granular Empathy Biofertiliser rose feed 2 to 3 times a year depending on if the rose is planted in a container or garden border.

A good number of the rose varieties in this section here that have been tried and tested in our fields, trial bed and gardens of our customers & reported to be easy to look after and again with very good performance and disease resistance.

If you are new to growing or buying garden roses these are the perfect start which will not disappoint and also make perfect gift rose, plant into garden borders or a large container using a John Innes No.3 compost, ensuring the rose gets at least half a day of sun, the more sun the rose gets the more blooms you will have.
