Roses on Walls, Trees, Arbours or Large Arches
The garden roses in this section have a fast and vigorous growing habit and will be a mixture of Climbing and Rambling roses best suited for difficult tall growing areas where the select rose varieties once given some initial help and training will happily grow away and perform perfectly with little attention once established.
If you want roses on walls, arches, or arbours, these work really well. They also grow well over out buildings and sheds, on large rose arches, or for growing up trees or through tall hedges, turning boring and unsightly areas into beautiful displays of colour and lovely aromas.
These roses will also have good ability to cope with shady areas, finding their way through and up structures and canopy's to get to the sunshine.
Ideally plant into the garden soil or border so there is plenty of moisture available to the roses when in full growth and flower, they can also be planted into very large containers if you can ensure daily watering once established and during hot and dry conditions.
Annual pruning is less important with these varieties, summer deadheading will increase the amount of flower seen in later flushes, always pay attention to and look out for any dieback in the stems and prune off as soon as seen.
